I started drawing horses as a child, always the little girl who wanted to have a horse, but couldn't. I finally accomplished that goal in my early 50s, and found them an excellent subject for photography. They led to the outdoors, other wonderful creatures, and the beauty of nature. After decades in graphic design, photographing and drawing the mundane, it took picking up a pencil after retirement to realize I still loved drawing horses....and a lot of other things.....whatever sparks my creativity.
