"The Butterfly And The Lilac" by Debbie Oppermann. The Eastern Tiger Swallowtail (Canadian Tiger Swallowtail) Butterfly is one of my most favorite butterflies. I love the colors, the tiger stripes and the huge wingspan. This male was nectaring on a purple lilac bloom in my backyard in Guelph Ontario Canada, and flitted from one to another for quite some time, which I enjoyed immensely.
